Primavera UK User Group

The Primavera UK Usergroup was established in March 1998 by Dave Forrest, formerly of Motorola and Steve Grant of Kvaerner. Membership currently stands at over 40 members and includes representation from a wide range of disciplines including Nuclear Engineering, Electronics, Chemicals, Construction, Project Management Consultancy, Marine Engineering, Defence, Aeronautics and Space to name but a few.

The Usergroup maintains close contact with Primavera and their VARS. Usergroup meetings are held at least every 6 months and a newsletter is published every 4 months.

The meetings usually cover a wide range of subjects including selection of a Project Management Tool, TimeControl and Risk Management. The meetings normally comprise a guest speaker, software clinic, general discussion and a question and answer session with a representative from Primavera.

Members normally host meetings, which gives them an opportunity to see how other users utilise the products.
