The program consists of two levels, Primavera Standard Solution Provider and the Primavera Premier Solution Provider, and equips the PSPs with a comprehensive set of consulting and training tools to ensure consistent and tailored deployment of the Primavera implementation solutions, delivering optimum return to the client. The program assists PSPs to capitalize on new business and value-added services opportunities. PSPs are selected based on their utmost commitment, proven ability, and expertise with Primavera products to meet their client expectations and requirements.
ForgeTrack has attained Primavera Premier Solution Provider status, and thus provides personnel who are Primavera Certified and have attended, and will continue to attend, the requisite courses required by Primavera to allow ForgeTrack through quality assurance to maintain their Primavera Premier Solution Provider status.
Consulting Services
ForgeTrack, having Premier PSP status, has Consultants and Trainers that are Primavera certified, are highly experienced and can provide a wide range of consulting services. Services include: Review and/or Development of project management procedures, Installation of Primavera Software, Implementation Support (Configuration Assistance), Report Development, Data Conversion, Integration and Interfacing.

Specific Service Outlines
Reviews and development of project management procedures
ForgeTrack can assist you by reviewing your procedures or helping develop new ones in line with the guidelines set out in the PMI Book of Knowledge (PMIBOK). You probably work to a standard set of project management procedures or practices, or you may want to introduce this into your organisation as part of the implementation of the Primavera Enterprise solution. Your company's level of need in this respect can be established by having ForgeTrack produce a company health check report.
Installation
ForgeTrack has an experienced Technical team to assist with the Installation and configuration of Primavera software to gain maximum benefit from your investment in the Primavera Enterprise Solution.
Six-Step Implementation Approach
For ForgeTrack to effectively deliver successful Primavera Enterprise Project management solutions, involves a combination of management desire, vision, implementation and the correct IT infrastructure. The following process highlights the proven phases that we adopt.
To minimise the risks associated with the implementation of Primavera solutions, ForgeTrack has developed a “Six Step Approach” which takes into account each phase of the implementation. Tailored to match your requirements with clearly established deliverables at each phase, this approach provides you with total visibility and control of the implementation process. Being broken down into discrete phases ensures effective knowledge transfer to your own implementation team.
This approach is designed to bring focus and consistency and is based upon proven best practice procedures developed by our consultants working with organisations in our market sectors throughout the UK. Each phase delivers a set of validated documents and reports that become essential elements of the total solution.

STEP 1 - REQUIREMENTS GATHERING & ANALYSIS PHASE
The primary purpose of the Requirements Gathering and Analysis phase is to form an understanding of the client‘s project management environment, processes, and business by assessing the client's “State-of-Readiness”.
STEP 2 - DESIGN PHASE
The purpose of this step is to create a Design Document or Role-Based user guide that completely details the software configuration, to includes portfolio configuration, data structures, reports and procedures that must exist to support and operate the Primavera Software in a production environment.
STEP 3 - DEVELOP PROTOTYPE & TEST
The Prototype and Test phase is to be used as a demonstration of the configured system and the processes developed and recommended in the Design Document. The Prototype will be built with the client's sample project information. With familiar project information, the client is better able to concentrate on the features and functions of the system rather than the data.
STEP 4 - PILOT PROJECTS
During the Pilot phase, a small sample of users will begin using the system. The system will be configured with familiar data and terminology. Changes to the processes or data structures will be implemented and documented before completing the pilot.
STEP 5 - ROLLOUT
Rolling out a complex project management solution will impact large numbers (and maybe all) of the employees in the organization. The impact may be minor for some, but for many it will involve a whole new way of doing their job. Planning the rollout by identifying the “who, what, when, where, and how” of the process and producing a detailed plan to manage it, will contribute to its success. Rollout involves a series of steps that begin long before the day marking the start of the software use.
STEP 6 - PROJECT CLOSURE
At the end of, or at a predetermined point during the rollout an evaluation is conducted to appraise the success of the implementation. The implementation team will review the critical success factors and scope of the implementation to ensure that all the required work has been accomplished, and in coordination with the ForgeTrack Consultant, will prepare an Implementation Final Assessment report.
Report Development
ForgeTrack can provide experienced consultants to analyse your requirements and then produce the necessary outputs, by either customising existing reports, or developing new ones, so that they can inherit your company style and logo. In addition we can help you set up batch reporting processes that make use of the Job Server contained within the Primavera software to automate reporting cycles.
Data Conversion
ForgeTrack has extensive experience in helping clients who have other planning packages in use throughout their organisation, to move their project data to the Primavera database. P3 and Microsoft are a speciality.
Interfacing and Integration
The Management of Projects has become an indispensable management discipline, and is becoming an intrinsic part of any organisation's overall business information systems. Following on from this there is a need to either Interface or Integrate information to and from other software applications, either new or legacy. Often the gathering together of Time, Resource and Cost information is part of a larger company initiative, as you may already transfer information manually between software packages and you would prefer to automate this transfer.
