Primavera Project Planner for the Enterprise (P3e)

Primavera Project PlannerŪ for the Enterprise P3e is comprehensive, multi-project planning and control software for managing your enterprise’s entire project portfolio. It can be implemented by itself, in workgroups, or as part of the Primavera Enterprise product suite. P3e facilitates exacting project management regardless of the size or scope of your enterprise. Whether you have just one project on a laptop, or thousands on a corporate server, P3e offers a total relational picture of their status. Program and project managers, as well as dedicated planners and schedulers, rely on P3e for the most complete insight into all of their projects—from summaries by cost account and work breakdown structures, to proactive control of project deadlines, issues and risks. Primavision

Primavision is a Web-based tool, linked to Primavera Enterprise, that delivers project and portfolio insight to executives, managers and project professionals.  Busy executives and managers, wherever they are in the world, can view and drill-down through results, presented as “front page news”, traffic-light reports, performance bar-charts or earned-value graphics, from the entire enterprise, or portfolios of projects, down to WBS levels within a single project.  Managers and planners can use Primavision to enter new projects, complete with resources, costs, activities and logic, and can schedule these projects to determine the impact of the proposed or intended resource usages on existing project portfolios.

Primavera Project Planner (P3)

P3 is the recognized standard for high-end, high performance scheduling and resource control on large and small projects. A true multiuser and multiproject tool, P3 enables the tracking of resource availabilities and overloads, budgets, costs and earned value. The package has strong electronic mail, security, global change of data and import/export facilities. In addition to the "what you see is what you get" style of text and graphic reports P3 has its own report writer and includes a copy of Sybase's InfoMaker product.

SureTrak Project Manager

Designed for use in smaller projects where the user needs results fast, SureTrak features a simpler interface ideally suited to people who only have a few hours each week to update and manage their projects. SureTrak is not simply a scaled-down version of P3 but it is a fully compatible product which allows users to produce professional, up to date reports instantly, leaving the cross project merging and summarisation, global changing of data, security control and import/export facilities to P3.

     Primavera Expedition

A management system for expediting design, change management and submissions.  Primavera Expedition complements P3e, P3 or SureTrak perfectly, helping you through the design process and the control of pending changes and contract issues. Instantly view all your contracts and purchase orders, pending and approved changes, and drill down for more detail.  Ensure materials are delivered timeously, record minutes of meetings and chase up actions automatically; record site progress daily; use the personalised Project Dashboard to see and access action items, in-basket and exceptional items across multiple projects.  Analyse costs using the built-in cross-tab reporter.  This multiuser, multiproject, client/server tool includes the powerful InfoMaker report writer, a whole suite of standard reports and Bentley's PowerScope CAD file viewer.

Progress Reporter for P3e

Primavera Progress Reporter is a Web-based program that connects project team members across projects, throughout an enterprise. Primavera understands the importance of a connected project team and knows that a schedule is only effective if it is monitored and updated. With Progress Reporter, your project team can easily enter time, update progress, alert you to issues or conflicts, submit revised estimates and communicate new requirements, without any software or technical training.

Webster for Primavera

Webster for Primavera extends the reach of Concentric Project Management from your network to your corporate intranet. Using Webster and a Web browser, team members can review and update their project assignments in real time so everyone has up-to-the-minute information for making project management decisions. Actual start dates, percent complete and hours spent can all be entered on an activity by activity basis.  Webster reads project plans created in either P3 or SureTrak.

 TimeControl from HMS Software

Track time and resource usage with this easy to use, web-based time sheeting system from HMS Software, a Primavera Partner.

TimeControl 4.1 is designed to serve the needs of both Finance and Project Management by including direct links to major project management, ERP and finance systems.  TimeControl runs under Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, InterBase, and other databases.  TimeControl interfaces directly with Primavera P3, P3e and TeamPlay , Open Plan and MS Project planning systems and has a link to virtually any accounting or ERP system including SAP, J D Edwards and PeopleSoft..  If you are working in a project environment and want to track time for both payroll and project management, TimeControl is for you .

Companies of all sizes need to track time - TimeControl Express for small companies of 100 employees or less, TimeControl Professional for the growing business of up to 1,000 employees and TimeControl Enterprise for large-scale organizations of 500 to upwards of 10,000 employees.

Pertmaster Professional +Risk is a Primavera Partner product that interfaces to Primavera Enterprise (P3e), Primavera Teamplay and Primavera Project Planner (P3) to perform Monte Carlo analysis.  Some of the features of Pertmaster Professional +Risk are:  Risk analysis in time and/or money;  choice of Monte Carlo or Latin Hypercube analysis;  assign risk to task durations, resource assignments, task costs, resource costs, links and task existence;  Probabilistic branching;  Probabilistic calendars. Monte Carlo for Primavera

Monte Carlo for Primavera is a risk analysis tool that interfaces with P3 project plans. It gives quantifiable information on the expected probability of achieving a project within time and budget based on activity expected durations, costs and probabilities. Monte Carlo uses advanced statistical techniques that are hidden from view and includes an integral, powerful report writer and Borland's ReportSmith product for custom report generation.

Portfolio Analyst for P3e

Portfolio Analyst provides unparalleled project summary and tracking information to executives, senior managers, and project analysts through a rich set of graphics, spreadsheets, and reports. The Project Portfolio wizard groups together any number of projects, based on project attributes or hierarchy, for comparison and analysis. Portfolio Analyst’s interactive interface allows quick drill-down to see information at any level of detail for clear presentation and discussion.

Expedition Analyzer for Expedition

Expedition Analyzer is supplied with Expedition solution, and provides executives, program managers and project controllers the ability to mix and match combinations of projects for advanced project analysis and control. Features include:

Drill down through cost code structures, spec sections and contracts to evaluate cost and performance by year, quarter, month and day.    

Analyse revised budget, revised commitment and approved variances by project hierarchy

Evaluate change orders by contractor and date

Analyse outstanding invoices and submissions by project, contract, contractor and date

Primaplan Flint

Primaplan Flint, which derives from Flexible Interface, is designed from the basic principle that exchange of data between Primavera and your Information System should be easy, flexible and bi-directional. You should not have to perform complex conversions to create your link and the first link could be created within a couple of hours.   Primaplan Flint interfaces to any database (and applications which use databases), such as dBase, FoxPro, Microsoft Access or Btrieve databases. In addition an ODBC driver allows access to Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB/2, Sybase SQL Anywhere and other databases. It allows an IT literate person to build custom interfaces between products in hours - and not days, and in a lot of situations can eliminate or reduce the need for expensive, custom built "add-on" software applications.

Bluewater MPX Translator 2000

MPX Translator 2000 is a new product of Bluewater Project Management.  Current users of Microsoft Project already know the importance of using MPX.  The MPX Translator permits Microsoft Project 2000 users to create an MPX file format to interface with other software applications.   This enables MS Project 2000 users to load their project data into Primavera Project Planner (P3) or Primavera SureTrak via the MPX format.  (Note that P3e and TeamPlay both already import from MS Project 2000  using MPP format.)

Requirement:  MS Project 2000.  Suitable for P3 or SureTrak users.

Primaplan Project Investigator

In environments which use committed schedules and where parts of the project are checked out and handed over to 3rd party users, planners may want to be able to check and approve or reject changes made to that part of the project.  Primaplan Project Investigator provides the user with a schedule comparison listing approved and/or rejected changes to the schedule.  It allows the user to accept or reject changes to the schedule and maintain a full audit log that would satisfy auditors during or after a project's lifecycle.

Primaplan Project Cleaner

Ever wondered how many activity codes you are not using in your Primavera project?   Frustrated by slow activity code libraries?   Wanted to delete unused activity codes but were afraid to do so in case an activity is assigned a code value?

Primaplan Project Cleaner finds all activity codes and activity id codes which are not used on any of the activities. The user can then choose to delete the unused codes from the activity code library, freeing valuable space and speeding up your project libraries.
